Important Updates: COVID-19 & Building Bonds Services

Click here to access your COVID-19 release form for digital signature (required for group class and private training participation).

UPDATE May 13, 2020: Group classes will resume on Monday, May 18, 2020. At this time, all private one on training is taking place at our training center where we can control social distancing and sterilization.  At your home training may be possible if working outdoors is possible (backyard, courtyard, green spaces etc). Please direct questions to Kim at info@buildingbondstraining.com.

In preparation to begin private one on one sessions and group classes, all Building Bonds, LLC and Journey Agility, LLC clients will be required to sign a Covid 19 Waiver, Informed Consent and Private/Group Training Agreement prior to attending training sessions at Building Bonds. If you are a current client and have not signed the form, the link is above. All new clients will receive an email after their registration with a link to sign the form.

Dear Building Bonds Family,

At this time, we are preparing to resume private training and group classes at Building Bonds soon. Safety measures will be put in place to adhere to social distancing and other CDC recommended guidelines. To further ensure the safety of our clients, we have lowered the cap of our classes to 5 students and will be ensuring that a safe distance of a minimum of 6 feet is always maintained between everyone in the facility. We have instituted additional measures for both instructors and students based on CDC guidelines which are outlined in our COVID 19 Waiver, Informed Consent, and Training Agreement which you can read and sign here.

Alicia and I ask for your flexibility as we navigate these new conditions. The tremendous amount of additional cleaning required of us mandates we modify the days we work to tag-team our cleaning responsibilities. We ask that you be as flexible as possible in scheduling your time with us. The weather has significantly changed since you last attended a session with us. As a result, group class times may be subject to change so that you may travel and work with your dogs in cooler temperatures. The duration of session times may be reduced to increase the comfort of everyone having to wear a mask during private and group training sessions. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask Alicia or me.

Building Bonds is exceptionally well prepared for a situation like this because we are a highly sanitized facility that has numerous processes and procedures in place to prevent illnesses for animals and people. Many of these same processes and procedures are preventive for COVID-19. But, if you do not feel comfortable yet to attend private training or group classes, we will continue to offer online one on one behavior consulting and training sessions.

With that being said, we ask that if you are feeling sick or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or ANY illness, please stay home.

We will keep you informed of any circumstances that may change and if we need to make adjustments. If you are impacted by the pandemic in any way and you think we can help, please don’t hesitate to ask Alicia or me for help. We value you and your health and wish everyone well during this time.

In health,

Kim Silver
