Shock Free Snake Safety
Shock Free Snake Safety Level 1 & 2
For dogs five months of age and older
We will only offer Level One twice in early 2023 and Level two once in the late spring.

Snakes can present a serious risk to your pet’s health. Without the use of a shock collar, we teach your dog to recognize the odor, sight, and sound of rattlesnakes and to move away from the danger. This class uses marker reward training and is considered advanced training. “Advanced training is just basic training done really, really well.” -Ken Ramirez. Class meets both indoors and outdoors. Snake odor will be provided to you. Live snakes are not used in this level one course.
Level Two $200
Without the use of a shock collar, we continue to practice and proof your dog to recognize the odor, sight, and sound of rattlesnakes and to move away from the danger. This class uses marker reward training and is considered advanced training. “Advanced training is just basic training done really, really well.” -Ken Ramirez. Class meets both indoors and outdoors. In this class, we bring a snake handler in on the last class meeting and practice with live Western Diamondback and Mojave Snakes.
